if you know a bunch of patterns what do you do with them? how do you incorporate them into songs. i mean, no song i know of switches between only 2 chordsevery 10 seconds

  2. ToddJamesForet says:

what kind of taylor does he have?

  3. thomgrub says:

  4. johndoe5743 says:

    taylor…mmmm

  5. weareroger says:

Plug in whatever chords you want. The point is to learn the strum with simple chord changes, then moving on to more complex ones.

If you want something that sounds more song-like combine the chords D, A, Em, and G with strum 2.

  6. dimaosi says:

great video… but those strum patterns are too hard to me… I’m just a begginer

  7. Waleskandrea says:

    It’s really nice!!! Thanks alot!!!

  8. 9Choci9 says:

this isnt easy, my dad taught me how to play the beggining of smoke on the water, but i really dont understand this, maybe i need to find something REALLY simple

  9. kiliop says:

    this guy is the boss
    thanks man

  10. JujumatX says:

smoke on the water is just
    (FRETS): O/3/5/0/3/6/5/0/3/5/3/0
    0 MEANS OPEN STRING.
AND ITS ALL PLAYED ON THE FIRST STRING. (THE FATTEST ONE.)

  11. lyckligtGalen says:

    Very good I like it!

  12. lyckligtGalen says:

It would help if you counted beats you play out loud for example 1 and and 3 and and.

  13. FerrerMJ1 says:

i wish i could comprehend everything!

  14. FerrerMJ1 says:

very good hope my two kids learn well

  15. browsy23 says:

my main problem with learning chorded songs is strumming patterns this helped alot thanks man :D

  16. trejomino says:

Wait… what? Isn’t smoke on the water played on G and D? The frets are right, though.

  17. Lozzalicious11 says:

smoke on the water only uses notes, not chords.
(you’re only plucking one string, not strumming an entire chord.)
you have to learn many notes to put together chords, and then the strumming patterns is just how you use the chords.

  18. azureus0 says:

very easy to learn the strums!, cheers bro.

  19. goblinfing says:

Hey I’m going to buy a guitar what should I buy electric or aqustic first?

  20. IWB420 says:

For an electric i think a dean razorback, and for acoustic a seagull.

  21. perrythebari says:

Let’s learn how to spell acoustic first.

Depends what you want, if you want to just have a mellow camp-fire type songs, acoustic, but if you want to really jam, electric.
